Calven, As I am relatively new to the Savage, I don't have a lot of practical experience here, but as I read through the forum, I see alot of folks that ARE talking their Savages on long trips and up on the highway.... I guess when I first saw the bike at the dealer, I made the same assumption, but I am starting to change my mind. I'm planning on doing two trips this summer (both with 2 HD -old Sportster and new Dyna- riders). One trip will be 400 miles each way, the other will be twice that.... Is there anybody out there that thinks this is unreasonable? Please let me know- the last thing I want to do is get in over my head, hundreds of miles from home....
